Frank Joseph

Talent Agent

Frank Joseph is Talent Agent at Steve Beyer Productions.

Frank orchestrates talent for events to give the maximum entertainment value and wow factor. He knows how to layer talent in a big event to create a kaleidoscope of color, light, sound, surprise, and pure talent, delivering far more than the client ever imagined, and  delighting the guests.

Frank Joseph has always had a love for music and technology since he was little starting with drum lessons and a heath electronics kit in the fourth grade. His best friend in high school and bandmate went on to design the Protools line of modern digital recording equipment.

His high school sweetheart lived across the street from then Santana musical director and jazz pianist Tom Coster Sr., which lead to Frank giving weekly drum lessons to his young son. Tom Jr. went on to co-write and produce Slim Shady with Eminem. Tom's mentoring instilled a value system in Frank to put family before business. Tom's solo project bandmates would visit the house and mentor a young wide-eyed Frank in making a music career. Being backstage at Santana shows and other concerts sealed the deal on his career choice.

He went on the road with a band after dropping out of law school, after realizing he'd rather have a career of making people happy than of fighting with them. After stints playing bass as a sideman in working west coast acts, he fronted his own band in Silicon Valley, CA, "The Executives." This led to performing solo as an interactive sing-along comedic, entertainer that used technology and worked venues that normally booked bands and an occasional name acts. A master of entertainment, his innovative acts were always unique, spontaneous, unpredictable, and fun. He worked the bugs out his new act in Las Vegas working opposite weeks from Tommy Rocker, a local hero and favorite at the now-defunct Carlos Murphy's across from UNLV.

Silicon Valley tech pioneers took notice when he performed there, and helped with technology and higher visibility through the media. This lead to consulting with major artists on how to apply new tech to the stage as well as testing for local electronic music manufacturers and designers like Roger Linn, inventor of the modern drum machine.

Frank was a regular for many years at SF Giants games, leading the crowd in pre-game sing-alongs and national anthem performances. He also enjoyed a 13-year run with a multi-unit nightclub operation, and an 8-year run with another Bay Area multi-unit operator and became the most recognizable name and top draw in the bay area nightclub scene.

During the day he was an engineer, producer, and board member of TRS Recording in Sunnyvale, CA. He learned recording techniques from house engineer Kevin Gilbert, a talented cat who went on to co-write and co-produce Sheryl Crow's debut album.

All runs come to an end, and Frank and his bride moved to Las Vegas for phase two of his music career. Mr. Rocker graciously helped with some new gigs. Ultimately Frank went back to his roots as a bass player in a house band at Paris Hotel and Casino, which led to an introduction to Steve Beyer and a subsequent run as a Las Vegas solo act. Steve brought Frank into the office, and he's been managing SBP's dueling piano acts ever since, along with managing national tours and producing the Las Vegas Motor Speedway's Neon Garage Entertainment for SBP for the last 9 years.

Frank currently lives in Henderson with his wife and young daughter. His older daughter is currently attending UC Berkeley in California.
